Kinsu, a UK insurance app, is now available for download on Android following a successful soft launch period on iOS.
By using the app, Kinsu said customers can protect their possessions in under two minutes, including phones, bicycles or entire home contents. Coverage renews monthly as a rolling subscription and can be cancelled at any time.

Each policy purchased also sends a contribution to Kinsu’s charity partner StreetLink to help those people who are sleeping rough.
Kinsu has also grown its team having hired Cate Walker as head of insurance, who is responsible for regulation, compliance and insurance. Walker began her career at Hiscox Syndicate 33 in Lloyds of London, previously specialising in war, terrorism and political violence insurance, as well as underwriting aviation war risks.
Kinsu also hired Sebastian Basso as head of operations, who has joined following four years at Yell.com, most recently serving as head of product innovation. Andreia Ruivo also joined as head of growth, previously leading marketing for early-stage startups including Seedcamp backed fintech enterprise, Divido.
