MetLife, a global insurance group, has expanded its direct-to-consumer suite of products with the launch of Final Expense Whole Life Insurance to address coverage and affordability issues of the consumers.
The new product, which is also termed as a guaranteed acceptance life insurance, offers insurance for those people who might have been rejected previously for health reasons.
The Final Expense Whole Life product is designed for the adults in the age range of 45 to 75 years in coverage amounts from $2,500 to $50,000. The company is selling the product through telephone and on line and further, its application process involves no medical questions or exams.
MetLife vice president Lewis Goldman said: "Our Final Expense Whole Life Insurance product is easy to obtain, to qualify for, and to afford. It addresses uncertainties about qualifying for coverage, affordability, and how to get started with the process."
Additionally, MetLife’s latest product cannot be scrapped for any reason during the life of the policyholder as long as they pay premiums.
