Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) has wrapped up the previously acquisition of International Specialty Insurance Services (ISI) for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, ISI operates as an independently owned managing general underwriter. It has offices in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
With completion of the takeover, ISI’s team has become part of RSG’s managing general underwriting unit RSG Underwriting Managers (RSGUM).
The transaction was first announced in February this year. The acquired business offers disability and other related insurance products to entertainers, athletes, physicians, and other professionals.
In February, Ryan Specialty Group founder, chairman and CEO Patrick G Ryan had said: “We are very much looking forward to having the professionals at ISI join our team at RSG.
“They have carved out a market niche and developed an expertise that complements the other businesses within our managing general underwriting division, RSGUM.

RSG acquired the assets and operations of Texas-based wholesale insurance brokerage Myron F Steves & Company (Myron Steves) in March this year.
In February, RSG also acquired independently owned wholesale insurance brokerage Boston Insurance Specialists (BIS) with offices in Mansfield and Westfield, Massachusetts.
