British insurer Legal & General (L&G) will use Acturis’ Software as a Service (SaaS) platform to offer its suite of Rainbow insurance products to brokers in the UK.

L&G’s Rainbow Household Insurance has been designed to provide coverage for a customer’s buildings and contents.

Key benefits available under the plan includeup to £500 home emergency cover per call out and trace and access cover up to £5,000 for buildings.

For Contents, it offers two types of coverages. Under the plan known as Contents – Special Events Cover, contents sum insured recorded on the customer’s policy grew by 10% to cover for special events such as Christmas.

Another Contents – Cover is for contents temporarily removed from the home for which up to £5,000 in total (£1,000 for a single article) is provided.

By paying some additional premium, customers can also extend their cover to include extended accidental damage cover, personal possessions cover and family legal protection.
