Indonesian ride-hailing company Gojek has partnered with insurtech start-up PasarPolis to launch an online insurance service, called GoSure.
GoSure will cover insurance needs for travel, motor vehicles, and mobile device protection.
The launch follows the GoSure’s beta version launched in October last year, which sold thousands of policies to a select group of users.
GoSure has been launched on Gojek’s Third-Party Platform (3PP). This platform offers a range of services including digital donations, ecommerce, news, health and gaming. GoSure insurance is the latest addition.
Gojek 3PP head Sony Radhityo said: “Through the launch of GoSure and partnership with PasarPolis, we seek to provide consumers with better protection and greater peace of mind when they go about their daily lives – all it takes are a few clicks on the Gojek app.
“The positive response and exponential transaction growth during GoSure’s beta phase affirm our belief that easy access to a variety of insurance products is what consumers want, and we will continue to work closely with PasarPolis to develop more products that best meet their needs.”
