It will enable businesses to define and deploy effective cyber risk management programmes.

Zurich has integrated its specialist cyber insurance and risk engineering capabilities with CYE’s AI-based technology, services and cyber expertise for this new product.

Zurich chief underwriting officer for commercial insurance Sierra Signorelli said: “Cyber is a very challenging risk for businesses as it is constantly evolving and highly complex.

“Our collaboration with CYE, a global leader in cybersecurity services, will give customers a state-of-the-art cyber-solution that combines the benefits of insurance with a boost to their cyber-defences.”

The new offering, the company claims, will close unknown security blind spots and lessen the risk and impact of security incidents.

To be available to companies globally, the offering will also ensure proactive protection of critical business assets.

CYE CEO Reuven Aronashvili added: “We are delighted to work with Zurich Insurance Group. With effective cyber-risk management powered by tailored adaptive continuous risk assessment and cyber-insurance, business executives can drive faster and smarter digital business growth.”

Zurich noted that businesses that buy a standalone cyber policy can also leverage its partnership with CYE.
