Brokerage business Brokerslink has bolstered its broker network in Africa with the addition of a new broker in the Republic of Congo.

The new broker Gramon is based in Brazzaville, the capital and largest city in Congo.

Gramon general manager and owner Jonas Makosso Leli said: “We are very proud to join the Brokerslink community.

“I believe Gramon has enormous potential for development and I’m looking forward to working with our Brokerslink colleagues around the world to share knowledge and expertise on the local market in both the Republic, and Democratic Republic of Congo.”

Established in 2012, Gramon has three offices in Congo. Currently, the company plans to open its fourth location in the country by the end of this year.

Recently, Gramon hired ex-Allianz director of development Dexter Pouela as its director of business development and international business.

Brokerslink Africa regional manager Tiago Mora said: “We are committed to harnessing the expertise and local knowledge of independent brokers such as Gramon to continue to strengthen our network in Africa.

“Their team has a great deal of experience supporting major brands, so we are looking forward to working with them to create more opportunities for our partners and affiliates to develop business within the continent and beyond.”

Last year, Brokerslink strengthened its footprint in the Asia region by adding three new affiliates.
