BNY Mellon has rolled out Automated Medical and Dental Payments Solution to help insurance payers to convert their claims payments from checks to electronic payments.
Designed to automate the medical and dental claims process, the new offering is said to accelerate and simplify the processing of claims.
It also offers Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statement delivery and provides users with payment information status and access through an online portal.
This solution has is already being used by US-based property and casualty insurer NJM Insurance Group (NJM), the company noted.

BNY Mellon rolled out the new offering in partnership with technology company Jopari Solutions.
Jopari Solutions develops and delivers end-to-end connectivity for the group health, dental, and workers’ compensation industry, including eBilling, ePayment, and Portal solutions.
