Reaching consumers is increasingly demanding a multimedia
approach, a reality UK insurer Aviva has grasped with its new app
for Apple’s iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The app – Aviva Time to
Act – is a free download of a simpler version of Aviva’s online
Pensions Tracker
service.
The app’s features include:

• Extra money, a calculator showing
why tax relief is an important benefit for pensions by highlighting
the importance of employer contributions and how they add up;
• Beam of Light which illustrates
how much retirement income a consumer might have using projections
based on 1,000 calculations, with the objective of helping them
understand how different investment styles affect retirement
income; and
• Save and retrieve function
enabling users to try as many scenarios as they want to compare
what is best for them.
