By GlobalDataIn 2021, he was promoted to head of claims for Asia. For his new role, Riha will relocate from Singapore to Dublin.
Commenting on the appointment, Veyry said: “We have ambitious growth plans for APAC & Europe focused primarily on multinational and mid-market solutions. We can only achieve those plans by expanding our partnership with clients and deepening our relationships with our broker partners.
“Robbie will play an integral part in this approach by driving our broker engagement strategy and, where it makes sense, identifying new distribution opportunities. With nearly 20 years of experience in commercial risk across international markets, Robbie is an ideal candidate for this strategic position.”
This announcement follows a recent collaboration between AXA and the Universal Postal Union aimed at expanding inclusive insurance through postal networks.
The partnership focuses on providing insurance solutions to lower-to-middle-income households and small businesses, utilising the extensive reach of postal services to achieve this goal.
