US-based software company Appian has joined forces with ReleasePoint to support life insurance underwriting automation.
The collaboration integrates ReleasePoint’s medical information solutions with Appian’s Connected Underwriting Workbench for Life Insurance, with the aim to streamline underwriting processes.
It allows underwriters and case managers to initiate and receive medical record requests directly within the Appian interface.
This integration is set to transform medical information management in underwriting, saving significant manual effort and expediting decision-making.
Appian said the integration of ReleasePoint’s MIDAS technology with Appian’s workbench will utilise both human expertise and AI to extract and aggregate clinical data, speeding up the underwriting process while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Built on the Appian Platform, Appian’s Connected Underwriting Life Workbench offers a data fabric for quick connectivity and AI-led automation to support underwriting process optimisation.
