Tokio Marine HCC (TMHCC) – Specialty Group has announced the appointment of Shaun Russ as the head of London Market, Crisis Management.
Shaun, who brings more than 15 years of experience in the London Market, will report to Mark Hutton, the head of Crisis Management, International.

Shaun Russ joins Tokio Marine HCC – Specialty Group from AXA XL, where he was a senior product recall underwriter.
His extensive background includes positions at Chubb Global Markets and Lockton Companies International.
In his previous role, Shaun was instrumental in expanding the product recall portfolio in London, particularly into Japan. He specialised in complex product recall risks, focusing on contaminated products and non-food product lines such as automotive components and consumer goods.
In his new capacity, Shaun will collaborate closely with Ian Davidson, senior underwriter, Crisis Management, who became part of the team in March 2024. This appointment is a significant step in extending Tokio Marine HCC – Specialty Group’s leading US product recall expertise into the international arena.

This development follows Tokio Marine HCC – Specialty Group’s recent launch of a new product recall offering in London, marking an expansion of its crisis management portfolio.
