Simply Business, a digital insurance broker, has partnered with EMPLOYERS to expand its workers’ compensation services in the US.
EMPLOYERS offers workers’ compensation insurance and services tailored to small and mid-sized businesses operating in low-to-medium risk industries.
This collaboration seeks to enhance Simply Business’ ability to digitally quote and bind policies for more than 300 types of small businesses across all eligible states.
Most US states require businesses with more than one employee to have workers’ compensation insurance, yet small businesses often struggle to find affordable coverage.
Simply Business aims to meet the specific requirements of these businesses by providing customised and affordable insurance solutions.
The alliance with EMPLOYERS adds to Simply Business’s growing panel of workers’ compensation providers and complements Simply Business’ existing relationships, including a partnership with Cerity Insurance announced earlier in 2023.
Simply Business US CEO Samantha Roady said: “EMPLOYERS is known for delivering comprehensive workers’ compensation solutions that help small business owners safeguard their businesses and employees.
“Through their extensive appetite and national footprint, we will be able to effectively serve more small business customers across various industries.”
EMPLOYERS vice-president of digital sales Chris Champlin said: “We are excited to partner with Simply Business, which shares our mission to provide cost-effective insurance to America’s small businesses.
“Simply Business’ intuitive online platform will enable us to meet more customers where they are and help them secure the workers’ compensation coverage they need.”
Earlier this year, Simply Business announced that it had exceeded one million active customers globally.
Currently, Simply Business’s portfolio supports more than 1,000 types of small businesses globally, offering a range of products such as general and professional liability, workers’ compensation, business owners’ policies and cyber insurance.
