UK-based insurance broker Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has strengthened its retail operations with the acquisition of Anthony James Insurance Brokers.
The financial terms of the deal, which bolsters SRG’s Specialist Risk Insurance Solutions (SRIS) division, remain undisclosed.
Established in 2009, Anthony James is known for its wide-ranging insurance services for UK businesses, including commercial, corporate, and high-net-worth personal lines.
As part of the deal, 50 Anthony James employees will join SRG, maintaining their operations from the Loughborough and Nottingham offices.
Steve Boorman, chairman and founder; and Jacob Duckworth, managing director; will continue at Anthony James to propel growth organically and through further acquisitions.
This acquisition expands SRG’s footprint in the East Midlands region.
