Alliant Insurance Services has launched a new Government Contractors segment within Alliant Specialty to deliver risk management and insurance solutions to companies engaged with the US Federal Government.
This segment offers Alliant clients nationwide access to a team of specialists providing expertise in placement, service, claims and loss control, regardless of their size or location.

The initiative will be headed by senior vice-presidents Bryan Salek and Angela Kirby, who join the company from Marsh.
Salek co-led the US Government contracting practice at Marsh.
With more than 25 years of experience, he is known for his understanding of the unique risks faced by companies in the government contractor, aerospace and defence industries.
His role involves guiding clients through the complexities of risk management programmes and helping them mitigate a range of systematic, financial, operational, regulatory and legal risks.

Kirby was latterly a senior account executive at Marsh.
She contributes more than ten years of experience in crafting insurance solutions and risk management strategies, specifically for government contractors and marine clients.
Her approach includes leveraging claims, medical evacuation consultation, and safety and loss analytics to broker effective Defense Base Act, United States Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, and casualty solutions for her clients.
