Aviva has sealed a new five-year partnership with NatWest Group, which from autumn 2025 will see Aviva’s protection insurance products distributed through the latter’s UK retail banking brands including NatWest, RBS and Ulster Bank.

Customers of the three retail banking brands will soon have access to a range of Aviva protection products such as term life insurance, critical illness cover and guaranteed over-50s life insurance.

These insurance offerings will come with the added benefit of Aviva’s Digicare+ application, designed to assist customers in identifying and managing health and well-being issues.

Customers can acquire insurance through their mobile banking app, which will pre-populate their details, as well as online or via telephone.

Additionally, a term life insurance quote will be integrated into the digital mortgage application process, streamlining purchase protection cover.

This move aligns with Aviva’s goal to expand on the distribution partnerships established by AIG Life, which Aviva acquired in April this year.
