Insurance solutions provider Davies has announced the purchase of Premier Claims Management (PCM) for an undisclosed sum.

Based in California, PCM offers professional and general liability claims, with a portfolio ranging from environmental and crime to cybersecurity and medical malpractice. 

PCM also manages errors and omissions claims for professionals such as realtors, appraisers and attorneys.  

This addition is expected to bring added value to Davies’ existing clientele, particularly those dealing with London Market insurers. 

PCM founder Marilyn Bonetati will join Davies in addition to more than 40 colleagues including 16 coverage attorneys.

This team will integrate with Davies’ North American claims operations, which are led by Claims Solutions CEO Don Lederer. 

RSM offered financial advice to Davies for this transaction, with legal counsel provided by Dorsey. PCM’s legal representation was managed by the Law Offices of Steven D Rubin, APC.

Last month, Davies acquired North Carolina-based Barker Claim Services, known for its professional claims handling and loss adjusting expertise, mainly in property, casualty and motor claims.
