Global insurance brokerage Hub International has acquired the assets of Otter Insurance Agency for an undisclosed sum. 

Otter Insurance Agency has been serving clients for more than 55 years by providing commercial, auto and home insurance from its headquarters in Lynnwood, Washington, US.

Hub Northwest president Eric Schack said: “We are excited to partner with Pat and the Otter Insurance team to further expand our client offerings in western Washington.”   

As part of the acquisition, President Patrick (Pat) Otter and his team will become part of Hub Northwest.  

The agency will continue to operate under the name Otter Insurance Agency, now a Hub International company.
