Global insurance brokerage Gallagher has announced the appointment of two new leadership roles within its specialty division.
Paul Bassett has been named CEO of crisis management and Simon Brookes as CEO of financial lines.
Julian Wallers, previously CEO of financial risks, which includes the teams now led by Bassett and Brookes, has decided to transition into a chairman role for these specialisms.
Both Bassett and Brookes will report directly to Jonathan Turner, CEO of Gallagher Specialty.
All the changes will take effect from 1 April 2025.
Bassett joined Gallagher in 2015 as managing director of crisis management after holding senior positions at Aon and JLT.
