MSIG USA has named Siobhan O’Brien as its new head of cyber insurance, with responsibility for overseeing the growth and strategy of its cyber insurance portfolio. 

O’Brien will spearhead the initiatives of MSIG USA to offer cyber coverage for clients managing digital risks.

She has been working for more than two decades in cyber insurance and professional liability across global markets, having headed cyber strategy as well as development for various organisations. 

Latterly, she held the role of managing director and leader of the cyber centre of excellence at Guy Carpenter, leading cyber initiatives across international and specialty markets.  

Prior to that, O’Brien worked at Marsh UK in leadership positions including UK cyber placement leader, developing tailored cyber insurance offerings for clients with diverse global risks.
