California-based brokerage Inszone Insurance Services has acquired Texas Classic Insurance Agency for an undisclosed sum.

The deal is expected to enhance Inszone’s capabilities in the personal lines insurance sector and its presence in Texas.

Founded in 1991, Texas Classic Insurance Agency operates offices in Granbury and Liberty Hill in Texas.

It has been providing personal lines insurance including homeowners and auto policies in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and offers commercial insurance products.

Under the new ownership, the Texas Classic Insurance team will continue to operate from its current locations.

Inszone Insurance stated that the Texas Classic Insurance team will now have access to additional resources, advanced technology and an expanded carrier network.

Inszone CEO Chris Walters said: “We are excited to welcome Texas Classic Insurance Agency to the Inszone team. They have built strong relationships in their community through personalised service and customised insurance solutions.

“With their expertise in home and auto lines – and a growing commercial presence – they are a perfect fit for Inszone. We look forward to supporting their team as they continue to serve their clients and expand throughout Texas.”

Texas Classic president Craig DeWitt stated: “We interviewed several different companies, but Inszone stood out the most. The process wasn’t easy, but it is rewarding to know we have found a partner that supports our vision. We are excited to bring the added resources and expertise of Inszone to our clients while maintaining the relationships we have worked so hard to build.”

The acquisition follows Inszone’s recent announcement of the creation of three new regional president roles.

Chris Tracy has been appointed as the regional president of California, Sara Evans will oversee the Mountain West region and Francisco Saldaña the Midwest region.
