Aon has appointed Jennifer Richards as the new CEO of its Asia Pacific operations, replacing Anne Corona.

Richards will assume the new responsibility on 1 March.

Meanwhile, Corona has recently taken on the role of CEO of enterprise clients and global chief commercial officer.

Richards will collaborate with the Asia Pacific executive committee to implement the 3×3 Plan, aiming to improve the firm’s capabilities, drive financial growth and deliver value for clients.

She will report to Lori Goltermann, CEO of Regions, and become a member of the Aon Executive Committee.

Goltermann stated: “Jennifer’s experience, Aon United mindset and ability to build and inspire high-performing teams position her to lead the Asia Pacific region to continued success.”

Richards  will relocate from Australia to Singapore in the upcoming months.

She has been working at Aon for the last 13 years ago, having supported clients regionally and globally with risk and people challenges.

Richards was latterly the company’s head of Australia, tasked with overseeing key client relationships and implementing the 3×3 Plan to speed up growth across solution lines.

Before her stint at Aon, Richards held various senior management positions at AIG, within Financial Institutions and M&A businesses in North America.

Her career also includes practicing corporate and securities law at Sidley Austin in New York City.

Richards said: “I am excited to work even more closely with this exceptional team and look forward to collaborating with such talented colleagues across the region. There is so much opportunity in the Asia Pacific region, and together we will build on our existing momentum and accelerate our ability to help our clients navigate the multi-faceted, complex and interconnected challenges they face.”

Earlier in February 2025, Aon entered a co-broking agreement with Protecdiv, a minority-owned enterprise (MBE) broker, to improve service offerings to public and private sector entities in the US.
