American Eagle Underwriting Managers, the brokerage division of Mission Underwriters, has implemented Dyad’s insurance platform, ALIS.
A Lloyd’s of London coverholder, American Eagle Underwriting Managers is an insurance programme administrator and brokerage focused on the placement of hard-to-place risks.
The latest collaboration is said to streamline workflows and improve the user experience for the excess and surplus (E&S) lines market.
The deployment, which was completed in under six months, is said to automate wholesale workflows and increase operational efficiencies.
The cloud-native platform is customised for the E&S market, equipping American Eagle with an underwriting infrastructure that includes enhanced automation and third-party integrations, stated the insurtech company.
American Eagle Underwriting Managers digital delivery & strategic partnerships vice-president Michael Waller said: “Operational efficiency was a key driver in our selection of Dyad’s ALIS platform. We needed a solution that could not only support our wholesale strategy but also reduce manual work for our underwriters and brokers. Dyad delivered an innovative, scalable system that positions us for long-term success in the market.”
Dyad chief sales officer Ryan Bosworth stated: “ALIS is purpose-built for the evolving needs of the E&S market, and this implementation showcases how modern technology can drive efficiency and growth in the insurance sector.”
Dyad’s ALIS platform, the latest version of which launched in September 2024, is a core system for wholesalers and MGAs. It includes accounting, claims, document management, policy management, quoting, rating and submission.
