Baltimore, US-based retail insurance brokerage Maury Donnelly & Parr has revealed plans to license CyberCube’s Broking Manager and Prep Module.
Through this move, the broker aims to enhance its capabilities in cyber risk management.
The Broking Manager tool is designed to help brokers convey cyber risk information to clients, including financial exposure and data essential for substantiating cyber insurance recommendations.
Prep Module prepares brokers to identify potential cybersecurity issues that are relevant to insurance before the start of the placement or renewal process.
CyberCube broker growth associate Winston Tisdale said: “This partnership is about more than just analytics – it is about enabling confident conversations, better outcomes for clients and sustainable growth for the brokerage. By integrating CyberCube’s analytics platform, Maury Donnelly & Parr is establishing a more robust, data-driven cyber sales process that empowers its team to have clearer, more effective conversations around cyber risk.”
Maury Donnelly & Parr executive vice-president Paul Green said: “We have seen a growing demand from our clients for guidance on cyber risk, but we knew we needed a stronger framework to deliver it effectively. CyberCube’s tools give us the ability to model our client’s financial exposure to cyber threats and help advise around appropriate risk transfer.”
Last month, MAPFRE RE, part of the MAPFRE Group, also reached a three-year agreement to license CyberCube’s solutions.
This agreement includes the cyber accumulation solution provided by CyberCube.
Set up in 2015, the platform is a software-as-a-service cyber risk analytics provider, catering to more than 100 insurance institutions worldwide.
