Canada Life, a global insurance company, has extended its range of life insurance products in the UK.

The Canadian underwriter will also collaborate with the UnderwriteMe comparison service to help advisors to develop the protection market while offering an easy to buy service for customers, reported International Adviser.
Through Canada Life International, the insurer is already providing its CanProtect Whole of Life plan in the UK that is also available to non-UK domiciled individuals, according to the publication.
Additionally, the company is adding level and reducing term life insurance for UK residents with the option on both products for accelerated critical illness cover.
Canada Life distribution propositions and marketing director Nick Harding was quoted by the website as saying: "Our new onshore CanProtect protection plans are designed to suit every budget and level of cover, providing genuine innovation in terms of the client purchasing process and the support that policyholders will receive."
