The industry’s overall hiring increased by 5.53% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

Top five insurance companies in Australia’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 24.29% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Australia’s insurance industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
Insurance Australia Group posted 29 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 262.5% over the previous month, followed by Dai-ichi Life Holdings with 21 jobs and a 4.55% drop. AMP with 18 IT jobs and Bupa Global with 13 jobs, recorded an 18.18% decline and a 13.33% decrease, respectively, while Medibank recorded an increase of 100% with 6 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 79.67%, up by 12.64% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 14.63% share, registered an increase of 38.46% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.69% share, up 250% over July 2021.
