Top five insurance companies in the UK’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 10.71% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s insurance industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
Willis Towers Watson posted 37 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 37.04% over the previous month, followed by Dai-ichi Life Holdings with 21 jobs and a 54.35% drop. Zurich Insurance Group with 17 IT jobs and BGL Group with 13 jobs, recorded a flat growth and an 18.18% flat growth, respectively, while Munchener Ruckversicherungs-Gesellschaft(Munich Re) recorded an increase of 9.09% with 12 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 85.51%, down by 12.44% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with an 8.41% share, registered a decline of 50% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 4.67% share, down 44.44% over July 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.4%, recording a month-on-month increase of 200%.
