Top five insurance companies in the UK IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 109.26% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK insurance industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
Willis Towers Watson posted 60 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a rise of 566.67% over the previous month, followed by Munchener Ruckversicherungs-Gesellschaft(Munich Re) with 16 jobs and a 700% growth. Admiral Group with 13 IT jobs and LV= with 12 jobs, recorded a 27.78% drop and a 50% increase, respectively, while Hiscox recorded a 29.41% decline with 12 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.9%, up by 8.88% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.06% share, a growth of 37.93% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.64% share, up 41.18% over May 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.4%, recording a month-on-month an flat growth.
