IT consultancy firms Accenture and Sopra Steria are aiding France’s property and casualty insurerCovéain its finance transformation programme.

This programme intends to modernise and simplify the insurance group’s finance function across its three notable brands — MAAF, MMA and GMF.

Under a four-year joint agreement, Accenture and SopraSteria will help Covéa converge three separate accounting systems into one integrated platform.

This integrated system is anticipated to better integrate with other systems across the business and ramp up the user experience for finance employees.

Deploying advanced technology tools and data models, standardising processes and implementing new budget-tracking software are the different phases of this programme.

The platform, which uses the Accenture Finance Transformation Solution, will be developed on SAP S/4HANA.Covéa will also utiliseAxway Accounting Integration Suite (AI Suite) to streamline data integration from multiple accounting systems into the new platform.
