Darren Delande has joined AEGIS London as a medical expenses underwriter to develop a portfolio of international medical expenses business.
Reporting to class underwriter Nick Waymark, Delande’s appointment further boosts AEGIS London’s accident and health team following Alex Lloyd Miller’s arrival in August last year.

Delande has joined from Arch where he was part of a team leading international medical expenses business in London. He also held roles at Brit and Cassidy Davis, has been in the London market for 11 years and brings a wealth of market contacts.

AEGIS London is the UK-based subsidiary of AEGIS (Associated Electric & Gas Insurance Services Limited), a mutual insurance company.
It operates the AEGIS London Syndicate 1225 at Lloyd's with a capacity of £330m for 2016.
