Among the new riders, some will cover loss of income, joint life, critical illness, protection of income with waiver of income and guaranteed income, among others, reported Business Standard.
Aegon chief distribution officer Amit Kumar Roy said, "The riders are all focused on protection.”
Roy added that the new riders may initially be offered only online. The riders can be attached to both existing traditional as well as savings-linked plans.
Additionally, the company has also revealed plans to launch a pension product this year.
