Afore Insurance Services has forayed into the childcare insurance sector by acquiring the assets of Oviedo, Florida-based Block Insurance for an undisclosed sum.  

Set up in 1987, Block has been serving the childcare insurance niche for more than 30 years, with risk management programmes that reduce costs for clients.

This deal is said to assist Block in deepening its footprint across the US. 

Block’s full 12-member team in Florida and Georgia will be integrated into Afore while continuing to operate from their current sites. Beth and Steven Block will join Afore in the role of managing principals.
