AIG Life has appointed Nicola Dryden as partnerships director to lead the development of its partnerships channel.
Dryden was previously strategic new business director, distribution, at Aviva and will take on her role at AIG Life with effect from 1 November 2017.
Having partnered over the last year with NFU Mutual and RBS, AIG Life said it continues to see partnerships as a key focus of its strategy in strengthening its position in the UK life protection market.
The life insurers said its existing and important intermediary business, under Vicky Churcher’s leadership, remains unchanged by this announcement.
Adam Winslow, CEO of AIG Life said: “I am delighted that Nicola is joining the team as partnerships director. It reflects our continued investment in partnerships and will take us to the next level of growth in this channel.”
Dryden said: “I am very excited to be joining AIG Life at this time. I believe AIG Life has a very strong proposition for partnering with companies looking to offer high quality but easy to understand protection solutions to their customers and I look forward to leading the growth of this business.”
