Allianz Australia has entered a multi-year tie-up with Football Australia, becoming the official insurance partner for the national football governing body and its teams.
Announcing the alliance, Allianz said this collaboration aligns with its goal to support community and promote social inclusion through sports.
The partnership extends to various national teams including the Subway Socceroos, Matildas, Youth Teams, CommBank Pararoos and CommBank ParaMatildas.
It builds on Allianz’s record of backing football, stadiums and other sporting initiatives across the world.
Besides offering insurance, the agreement will see Allianz Australia’s logo featured on training and off-field apparel.
In addition, Allianz Australia will provide support for para-athletes, becoming the official partner of the CommBank ParaMatildas and CommBank Pararoos.

This campaign is set to launch in conjunction with the Matildas’ opening match at the Olympics on 25 July.

Earlier this month, Allianz Partners was selected by the Paris 2024 Organising Committee to offer medical assistance and repatriation services during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
With the expected increase in visitors, Allianz Partners’ medical teams will collaborate with public services and the organising committee to manage the potential impact on the French healthcare system and offer optimal patient care.
