Allianz Partners, through its specialised automotive brand Allianz Automotive, has extended the motor insurance collaboration with Ford Credit Europe (FCE).

Both companies have been collaborating since 2013 to provide insurance solutions to Ford customers in a number of markets including Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

As part of the extended collaboration, Allianz and FCE will work on other strategic projects to offer local solutions, considering specific market dynamics and customer requirements.

The companies will also continue to develop and deliver joint innovation across insurance products, services and new mobility solutions.

Allianz Partners Board of Management member and Automotive CEO Claudius Leibfritz said: “This marks a new era of strategic collaboration between FCE and Allianz, building upon the successful path we have already forged together. We will continue to work closely with Ford dealers to offer Ford customers innovative insurance products and services that meet their changing needs.”

Commenting on the development, FCE European Insurance manager Matthew Hunt said: “Allianz has collaborated with FCE across a number of European markets to deliver products and service that meet the high standards Ford customers and its dealer network demand.

“Furthering this experience and relationship in these challenging and fast-moving times, will help us serve the changing needs of customers as they adopt online purchasing, electric vehicles and new mobility solutions.”
