US-based Amerisure Insurance has implemented Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter on Guidewire Cloud to enhance its policy administration, underwriting and billing management capabilities.  

This follows the migration of its on-premise installation of Guidewire ClaimCenter in 2023. 

The implementation commenced with the Workers’ Compensation line of business across all operating regions and is currently extending to other lines such as commercial auto and loss sensitive (special risk).  

PwC, a Global Premier member of Guidewire PartnerConnect Consulting, served as the lead partner in the implementation process.

According to Amerisure product management vice-president Mark Fowler, the integration has modernised Amerisure’s processes with features such as account-level viewing and streamlined access to policy information across the organisation. 

The new systems have also enhanced operational efficiency, enabling real-time tracking of the full quote-issue-bind cycle for new policies.

This is said to have reduced staff training time and facilitated faster onboarding within weeks as opposed to months, compared with the previous systems. 

Additionally, Amerisure has integrated SmartCOMM from Smart Communications for customer communications management.  

Smart Communications is a member of the Guidewire PartnerConnect Solution and is resold by Guidewire.
