US-based insurance brokerage Arthur J. Gallagher has continued its national growth trajectory with the purchase of Afina Insurance Advisors.
Financial details about the deal were not revealed.
Based in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, Afina Insurance is a property/casualty insurance broker. It is known for its services in the greater Chicago area.
The company will continue to serve its clients from its existing location.

The Afina team, led by founder and CEO George Van Denend, will now work under the guidance of Gallagher’s Midwest region retail property/casualty brokerage operations head Ryan Isaacs.

Earlier this month, Arthur J. Gallagher also signed a $13.45bn deal to buy US insurance broker AssuredPartners, which provides services in commercial property and casualty, employee benefits, personal lines, as well as specialty lines.
