
Arthur J. Gallagher (Gallagher) has acquired Hann Insurance Brokers, a New South Wales-based company specialising in P&C insurance services, and the UK operations of Caytons Law, a claims and legal management company.
Financial details of the deals have not been disclosed.
Hann Insurance Brokers focuses on the transport sector. Rhett Hann and his team will integrate into Arthur J. Gallagher’s Newcastle office.
They will operate under the leadership of Sarah Lyons, head of retail P&C brokerage operations for Gallagher in Australia and Asia.

Arthur J. Gallagher’s subsidiary Gallagher Bassett acquired the UK operations of Caytons Law.
Caytons is a claims and legal management operation specialising in legal advice for commercial and professional liability insurance matters.
John Cayton, Sam Moore, Robin Cundall and their UK teams will now work under Manan Sagar, head of Gallagher Bassett’s UK operations.

Last month, Arthur J. Gallagher acquired Shepard Insurance Group, a retail insurance broker based in Connecticut.
Arthur J. Gallagher also acquired THB Chile, a Santiago-based broker specialising in various insurance services including reinsurance.
