In the first development of
its kind in the UK, Aviva has launched a version of its dedicated
adviser website that can be accessed through mobile
phones.

“We know that consumers are
demanding new and different ways of interacting with their
finances,” says head of e-commerce at Aviva, Billy
Burnside.

“There is no reason why this
should be any different for advisers managing finances on behalf of
their clients.”

In a survey, Aviva found that
78% of advisers see the ability to immediately access client
information as the key benefit of a mobile service.

This was followed by quick
administration and allowing immediate transactions, both of which
were selected by 66% of advisers.
