By GlobalDataWith nearly two decades of industry experience, Barker has been a part of AXA XL since 2009, where he has led the aviation book of business and recently held the position of head of specialty insurance, AXA XL, Canada.
O’Malley said: “At the heart of our strategy is the relentless pursuit of our clients’ growth. We are reshaping our organisational structure to place an even stronger emphasis on the needs of our clients, and the roles assumed by Alex and James are pivotal in driving this client-centric vision forward.
“Alex and James are exceptionally well-equipped to deliver tailored solutions that go beyond conventional insurance offerings, ensuring we bring tangible value to our clients.”
The leadership changes follow AXA XL’s decision to reorganise its insurance underwriting operations into three main business segments: large commercial, mid-market and professional.
This restructuring aims to better serve the varying needs of its diverse client base.
