The service is provided to insureds through their unique Insurance Wallet app. As a result, customers will avoid delays and endless paperwork generally associated with the process.

Those who have downloaded and installed the Insurance Wallet App can use the CDC service to make claims up to INR20,000 ($272.20). The customers are also offered the status of their claim in real-time.

After logging to the app, the user needs to enter their health insurance policy under the ‘manage policy’ tab. Next, they can choose the policy number under which they want to file the claim, followed by the patient and hospital name.

In the next step, the users need to enter information. Details include their mobile number, e-mail ID, admission date, discharge details, estimated expenses and the diagnosis details.

After filing this information, a claim number is generated by the app. Obviously, these details should be noted by the users for future reference.

Subsequently, the user will have to upload the claim documents such as hospital bills and the claim form. Furthermore, these will be verified by the insurance firm with the hospital.
