Ireland-based insurtech Blink Parametric and global insurance firm MAWDY have rolled out real-time travel assistance across the Sub-Saharan region.
As a result, Blink Parametric’s flagship flight disruption assistance service via MAWDY’s partner network will be offered to customers initially across Kenya and thereafter on a phased basis to in-country partner networks across the region.

Blink Parametric has also partnered with Gigasure which allows travellers to access Blink Parametric’s travel assistance products through an app for the first time.
Gigasure policies are underwritten by SiriusPoint with claims and assistance handled by iMG.
In addition, Gigasure is a recently launched travel insurance provider that offers customers customisability based on needs and budget. Through its app, policyholders can access the GigaShield Flight and Luggage Delay benefits provided by Blink.
