Specialist insurance and reinsurance broker BMS Group has hired Ali Trauttmansdorff as group chief people officer.
In addition, Trauttmansdorff, who will be based in London, will report to Nick Cook, BMS Group CEO, and join BMS’s executive committee.

She brings vast global experience to BMS, in particular in the US, having served as chief human resources officer of a US publicly listed global wealth and alternatives manager, as well as holding senior and global HR positions at Goldman Sachs and Rothschild & Co.
Her role is supporting the group’s M&A ambitions and leading the attraction of new talent and its development.

The company has appointed Rob Wendin as managing director of the new division.
Wendin, who joined the company in December 2023, has more than four decades of experience in insurance, reinsurance and healthcare.
He is based in London and reports to Andrew Wheeler, president at BMS Re.
