Stellantis Financial Services US has partnered with bolt, the insurtech with a technology-enabled insurance exchange.

The collaboration between Stellantis and bolt will enable Stellantis customers to purchase auto insurance through its brand websites and mobile apps.

In addition, the journey will be simplified and personalised with customer coverage options available through various distribution channels. The option will scale to include usage-based choices by utilising telematics, data, and analytics.

“Stellantis customers today want choice, context, and simplicity when selecting their auto insurer,” said Mark Buffa, managing director of insurance at Stellantis Financial Services US. “It’s important that insurance offerings keep up with customer demands. Partnering with bolt and their established insurer partners, we’re confident that customers and their vehicles will be better protected.”

In February 2024, WorldTrips joined forces with bolt to introduce a device protection programme for the travel insurance sector.  

The collaboration aims to provide travellers with coverage for their connected devices including smartphones, tablets and laptops. 

With the new offering, insureds will have 24/7 access to bolt’s digital claims process, enabling them to file claims from anywhere in the world without the need to wait until they return home.  

It allows travellers to add device coverage when purchasing their travel insurance from WorldTrips, paying only for the protection they need.  

This option covers all individuals and devices within the insured’s travelling party, offering a cost-effective solution for customers.
