Cachet, a company specialising in personalised insurance for the gig economy, has joined forces with Taskrabbit to launch a custom insurance package for gig workers across Europe.
The collaboration aims to provide financial security solutions that align with the flexible work arrangements of ‘taskers’, a term used by the companies for gig workers.
Taskrabbit, a platform connecting individuals with local skilled workers for home assistance, is set to enhance the working experience of its taskers.
These independent contractors, who value the autonomy of choosing their work schedule and location, will gain the added benefit of insurance coverage that adapts to their working lifestyle.
The Tasker-Customised Insurance Package is currently available in six European countries.
This offering is designed to provide taskers with financial stability by protecting against income loss from accidents and providing compensation for family, or compassionate leave.
