London-based specialist lines underwriting agency CFC Underwriting has rolled out a new cyber incident response app.
The new app was launched by the company after noticing a rise in Covid-19 cyber scams targeting businesses.
The policyholders will be able to instantly notify claims using the app. They will also receive quick specialist support from CFC’s global cyber incident response team.
Moreover, the users can configure the app to notify excess insurers and other members of the policyholder’s incident response team at the same time.
The app also provides users with global cyber news updates.
CFC Underwriting Incident Response head Anthony Hess has been quoted by Insurance Journal: “Our claims service is at the heart of our cyber proposition and we wanted to make it as straightforward as possible for policyholders to access our help.
