Chubb has launched a support programme for its small business clients in the US to ease the financial burden caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
It will also provide direct support to healthcare workers as well as other front-line responders.
Under the programme, the company’s small business clients in the US, whose policies renew between 1 April 2020 and 1 August 2020, will get an automatic 25% reduction in the sales and payroll exposures used to calculate their premium.
They will also receive a 15% discount on premiums for their commercial auto insurance.
In addition, Chubb will buy $1m in gift cards from small business clients in the US. It will be donated to healthcare workers and other front lines responders.
Chubb Small Business Division president Jim Williamson said: “Chubb is committed to serving America’s small businesses. We are proud to do our part to support clients and their communities at this time when they need it most.”
