US-based Continental General Insurance Company (Continental General) has partnered with Sapiens International to modernise its insurance platform and ramp up operations.
Through this collaboration, the life and health insurer also aims to scale up its long-term care insurance and third-party administrator services.
Sapiens Insurance Platform is set to support Continental General’s end-to-end insurance processes, offering rapid deployment for faster market adaptation.
The platform’s comprehensive suite includes CoreSuite for Life & Annuities, DigitalSuite, IllustrationPro, ApplicationPro and UnderwritingPro, all designed to drive insurance business growth.
CoreSuite is a configurable and unified system for streamlining the underwriting, policy, billing and claims process, while DigitalSuite is a cloud-native digital engagement tool.
IllustrationPro is a quoting and illustrations solution designed to offer rapid experience, while Sapiens ApplicationPro is a turnkey solution designed to provide a seamless workflow and lower cost.

In March this year, Sapiens collaborated with Quantee, helping its users integrate the latter’s pricing software for faster product launches powered by AI and machine learning.
A month later, Reuters reported, citing sources, that Sapiens is exploring a sale and has appointed investment bank William Blair to evaluate potential buyers’ interest.
