Farm Bureau Health Plans (FBHP) has selected Connecture, a provider of web-based information systems, to introduce a new health insurance quoting, shopping and enrollment platform for its members in Tennessee.
Under the agreement, Connecture will also offer digital quoting tools for the health plan’s agents and representatives.
The first phase of implementation was initiated by Farm Bureau Health Plans prior to the annual open enrollment period (OEP) last fall and has already processed over 4,900 applications, Connecture said.
Farm Bureau Health Plans COO LeAnn Tice said: “Our goal was two-fold, as we wanted to implement a solution that would give our members an improved and responsive navigation as well as provide our representatives greater flexibility when quoting and applying.
“With Connecture, we achieved that goal and now have a platform that will grow with our business and give our customers a consistent online solution.”
Connecture president and CEO Jeff Surges said: “We’re proud to help Farm Bureau Health Plans implement intuitive, powerful technology that solves for these issues, while keeping them ahead of an ever-changing healthcare market.”
