Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa (FMH) has rolled out its latest agency support tool across the US in partnership with tech start-up company FindBob.
Called FMH Bridge, the launch of the new tool follows a successful trial programme, which was carried out over the last six months in Iowa and Kansas.
The company has now launched FMH Bridge in the remaining 39 states in its footprint.
FMH Bridge, according to FMH, has been designed to enable the FMH agents to recognise growth opportunities.
FMH president and CEO Ron Rutledge said: “The response from our agency partners in the pilot states has been incredibly positive.
“It can be challenging for an agent to find opportunities to grow or develop a transition plan for their book of business. FMH Bridge has proven that it can help in easing that process as well as facilitate easier business transitions for customers.”

By GlobalDataFindBob founder and CEO Roland Chan said: “The support and trust FMH has given FindBob by rolling out FMH Bridge to their 39 remaining states is tremendous.
“Our platform is designed to help both home offices create efficiencies and the agency principal achieves their transition or growth goals. We couldn’t be prouder of this relationship and the continued confidence that FMH has in FindBob and our platform.”
FMH Bridge, which has been organised as a networking platform, allows each participating agency to create an anonymous profile.
Using the new platform, the agencies can plan where and how they would like to develop their business, or whether they are planning to offload their operations.
Additionally, agencies can search for other profiles and join with each other to acquire, divest, or partner on books of business.
Headquartered in Iowa, FMH offers complete risk management solutions, such as private and federal crop insurance, reinsurance products, and services, along with farm and ranch insurance.
